Help & Guides / Office / The Squawk Box: What's New, the Build Board, and Your Tickets
The Squawk Box is one page with three tabs — What's New, the Build Board, and My Tickets. It's where you see what shipped, what's being built next, and the status of every report you've filed, all in one place under Community.
The Squawk Box is the community hub for everything moving through the build pipeline: what just shipped, what’s queued next, and where your own reports stand. Find it at Office › Community › Squawk Box · /office/community/squawk-box.
The page has three tabs across the top — “What’s New”, “Build Board”, and “My Tickets”. It remembers the last tab you had open, so you land back where you were.
The default tab. Headed “What pilots built” with a “Live” pill, it’s the running changelog — every fix and feature as it ships, newest first. The “Report something” button at the top files a new report. If you’ve filed reports, your reports show above the feed (with a kick-back action if something you filed didn’t land the way you meant). The Easy Pickins column on the right (below the feed on a phone) is a short list of rough edges any pilot can claim and tackle — see Easy Pickins: Claim a Rough Edge.
The Build Board is a three-column view of the work in flight — Queued, Accepted, and In Progress — so you can see what’s coming before it lands. Once a card ships it drops off the board and shows up in the What’s New feed. The board loads the first time you open the tab.
My Tickets is your personal list: every ticket you’ve submitted, each with its tracking number, subject, a status badge, and the date, with search and filters at the top. Click a row to open the full ticket. When a ticket you filed is accepted into the build queue, its row shows a +20 earned badge — that’s the Flight Path points the report earned you.
To look one up by number: at the bottom of the tab, type it into “Track a ticket by number” (e.g. SSC.000384 or just 384) and click “Track”. The direct link to this tab is /office/community/squawk-box?tab=my-tickets.
How do I file a report in the first place? Click “Snippet Ticket” at the top of the left menu — it files a real ticket from the page you’re on, with a screenshot attached. See Filing a Snippet Ticket. Whatever you file shows up on the “My Tickets” tab here.
Why did my ticket disappear from the Build Board? It didn’t disappear — it shipped. Shipped work moves off the board and into the What’s New feed.
What are the points on My Tickets? When a ticket you submitted is accepted, it earns you 20 Flight Path points, shown as a +20 earned badge on the ticket’s row. Points are awarded once per ticket.
