Help & Guides / Office / Filing a Snippet Ticket
Snippet Ticket files a real support ticket from the page you're on, with a screenshot and the page's console errors already attached — no jumping to a separate form. It earns you Flight Path points when the report is accepted.
Snippet Ticket lets you report a bug or ask for a change without leaving the page you’re looking at. It grabs a screenshot and the page’s console errors for you, so the team can see exactly what you saw. It’s available to every user.
To open it, click “Snippet Ticket” at the top of the left menu, just under “New” (when the menu is collapsed it’s the flag icon; on a phone, open the menu first). “Send Feedback” in the menu under your name at the top right opens it too. A small panel appears that you can drag out of the way, and it stays with you as you move between pages — so a bug that only shows up after a few clicks can still go in one ticket.
You can attach up to four images, and because the panel follows you across pages, you can snap one, navigate, snap another, and send them all on a single ticket. Each ticket also carries the page’s console errors automatically (“Diagnostics attached”) — you don’t have to copy anything.
From then on you can follow it on the “My Tickets” tab of Office › Community › Squawk Box.
When your ticket is accepted into the build queue, it earns you 20 Flight Path points — shown as a +20 earned badge on the ticket. Points are awarded once per ticket.
Do I have to add a screenshot? No. A Snippet Ticket sends with or without one — but a screenshot usually gets the problem understood faster. The console errors ride along either way.
I closed the panel by accident — did I lose my report? No. The × button hides the panel and keeps your snippet — screenshots, notes, and all — even after a page reload. Only “Discard” deletes it.
Where do I check on it after I send it? Go to Office › Community › Squawk Box and click the “My Tickets” tab, or look it up by number in “Track a ticket by number” at the bottom of that tab.
