Then you compete on real use
After the free month comes the October 1 audit, straight off the Flight Path leaderboard. It doesn’t hand out the awards — it sets the 20 who compete for them. The 5 lifetime seats — Pro free, forever — are then awarded one a month: Nov 1 and Dec 1, 2026, then Jan 1, Feb 1 and Mar 1, 2027. Win one and you leave the lifetime running so the next seat goes to someone else — five different pilots take the five — and you keep your login and can keep contributing. When the last seat is announced on March 1, 2027, the remaining 15 of the 20 win a full year of Pro free, and that year runs from March 1, 2027 — not back at the October audit. Finish below the 20 with real activity and you still earn the Founder badge and keep your permanent 25%; only the subscription awards are limited to the 20.

The Founder badge is earned by contribution, not rank: at the Oct 1 audit every founding pilot with real activity keeps it — tickets, missions, meetings, deliveries. There's no cap on how many hold it, and you don't lose it for placing low. Only zero activity loses it. Time on the clock and a polished profile don't count as activity. A pilot still at zero at the audit is released from the program — the 25% stays yours, but you're out of the running for the awards.
One rule on the money: survey and AI credits are always pay-as-you-go — those are straight GPU and model cost, not something we can give away. Your plan carries a monthly credit allowance — 250 a month on Pro, 25 on a free account — and anything past it you buy as you need it. That holds for the lifetime and annual awards too: they cover the Pro subscription and its monthly allowance, and credits beyond that stay pay-as-you-go. Everything else is the deal above.
And one on the tool itself: this is a live beta — it changes fast while we build it together. Your data is always safe and never lost, but expect things to move around as we refine it. Think of it like the grocery store: the milk's still there, we just might move it from the front aisle to the back row while we lay the place out.
