Hire a drone pilot

Hire a drone pilot without learning drones

Tell us what you need in your own words. Drone pilots send you their prices, you choose who to hire, and your photos, video or map arrive on one page.

What people hire a drone pilot for

Pick the closest one on the form. If it is none of these, choose "Something else" and describe it.

Property

Photos and video of your property

Aerial photos and a short video of a home, a farm, a ranch or a business, for a listing, a website or your own records.

Maps

A map or 3D model of your property

One sharp, measurable picture of the whole site, stitched from hundreds of drone photos. Useful for land, construction progress and planning.

A finished drone map of a construction site: the whole flight area, the site fence, haul roads and the golf course next door.

Inspection

Roof, building and solar inspections

Close-up photos of a roof, a building or solar panels, taken from the air, so nobody has to climb a ladder to see the damage.

Telecom

Telecom and tower work

Tower and antenna photos, site checks and close-ups for telecom teams. Post each site as a job, or talk to us about a batch of sites.

How it works

  1. Describe the job

What you need, where it is, when you need it, and a rough budget if you have one. If you are not sure what it should cost, pilots will quote.

  2. Confirm by e-mail

We e-mail you a link. Nothing is published until you click it. Pilots never see your e-mail, and they only see the town until you hire one.

  3. Pilots send prices

Each price shows the pilot's message, and whether we have checked their FAA drone license and their insurance.

  4. Hire one, get your files

Pick the pilot you want. They have 48 hours to confirm. Their photos, video, map or report arrive on your job page, where you can say it looks good or ask for changes.

One short form

Five choices cover most jobs. You don't need a SkySuite account to post, and you don't need to know anything about drones.

Post a job

The SkySuite Post a drone job form: four steps (describe, confirm by e-mail, pilots send prices, hire one), the five kinds of job and the address box.

Your files on one page

When your pilot shares the work, it shows up on your job page with a link to their delivery page, and you can message them from the same place.

Questions

Do I need a SkySuite account?

No. Fill in the form with your name and e-mail and we send you a link to confirm the job. Confirming it sets up a simple account just for your jobs, with nothing to learn. If you already have an account, sign in first and your job goes live straight away.

Who sees my address?

Pilots see only the town until you hire one. Your e-mail is never shown to pilots.

How do I know a pilot is qualified?

Every price shows whether we have checked the pilot's FAA Part 107 license and their insurance, so you can see it before you hire.

What if I don't know what to ask for?

Describe it in your own words and choose "Not sure yet" for the budget. Pilots read the description and quote.

We have many sites. Can we post them all?

Post each site as its own job, or talk to us about the batch first.
