Help & Guides / Office / Flight Path: Ranks, Points, and the Leaderboard
Flight Path is the pilot rank ladder — ten ranks from Recruit to General. You climb by earning activity points and clearing each rank's requirements, the Leaderboard shows the community standings, and a weekly muster re-seats the limited ranks by standing.
Flight Path is the rank ladder that tracks how active you are in SkySuite. Everything you do — flying missions, delivering to clients, helping the community — earns activity points, and points are what move you up the ladder and up the Leaderboard.

The direct link is /flightpath. On a phone, it’s also “Flight Path” in the “Me” sheet.
The ladder runs from the bottom up:
Captain and up are the officer ranks. The top rank, General, is honorary — it’s the build team, not an earnable seat.
A promotion isn’t just a points total. Each rank has its own requirements to clear — a set of challenges across flying, community, data, and business activity — plus a time element: how long you’ve been on the platform, how long you’ve held your current rank, and how many community meetings you’ve attended. When you’ve met everything a rank asks for, you’re promoted on the next review. Your Flight Path page shows your next rank and a checklist of what’s left.
Points come from real activity. The main ways to earn (open the full list any time: Office › Community › Leaderboard → “🪙 Ways to Earn Points”):
Office › Community › Leaderboard · /office/community/leaderboard ranks the community by activity points — not time on the platform. It’s split into standing groups (founders and the top-20 race, lifetime and annual subscribers, and everyone else), with pilots who have no activity yet shown in a grey group at the end. Each card shows a pilot’s name, @handle, points, and service badges; click one to open that pilot’s Flight Path and see the points behind their standing. Company leadership sits in its own “Leadership” box and is kept out of the ranked standings.
Several ranks — from Aviator up to Ace — have a limited number of seats. Once a week the muster re-seats them by current standing, so those ranks always reflect who’s most active right now. Between musters your rank holds steady. A few rules keep it fair: you can only hold a rank you’ve actually earned, a sitting officer isn’t bumped by a hair (a challenger has to clearly out-point them), and if you do lose a seat you slip just one rank rather than tumbling.
Why did my rank change without me doing anything? The weekly muster re-seats the limited ranks by standing. If someone out-pointed you for a seat you slip one rank; climb back by earning points.
Does watching tutorials or reading the leaderboard earn points? No — points are for doing: flying, delivering, helping. Recording a tutorial earns points; watching one doesn’t.
Can I reach General? No — General is honorary for the build team. Commander is the top earnable rank.
