Delivering to Your Client

Hand finished work to your client through a private portal link — no login needed on their end. Organize files per flight, release exactly what they should see, send the branded email, and let them view maps, download everything as a zip, and pay the invoice online.

Delivery is the last step of the same project: open your project under Office ▸ Projects and hit the Deliver button in its action bar. The Deliver page shows one row per flight and a client-portal strip at the top — that’s the whole surface.

Stage the files

Pick a flight to open its delivery workspace. Files are organized under three default folders — Media, Raw Files, and Documents — and you can add sub-folders, rename, move, and drop files in.

Everything you upload starts private. The eye toggle on each file or folder releases it to the client — the client sees only what you’ve shared, and only flights that have shared files. Finished survey runs attach their deliverable package to the delivery automatically, with the Interactive Property Map shared with the client from the start.

Set up the portal and send it

Back on the Deliver page, Set up client portal creates the client’s private portal (add the client’s name and email on the project first). Once it’s live you can:

The link is a private, random URL — no login needed on the client’s end, and it doesn’t expire on them.

What the client sees

The portal carries your company name and brand colors (set yours up at Delivery branding settings), with tabs:

Clients can also post comments, approve a deliverable or request changes, and upload their own supporting documents to you.

Getting paid from the portal

Attach an invoice to the delivery (delivery invoices carry a project field) and it shows on the portal’s Invoices tab, with a Pay Now button when you’ve connected a payment gateway (Stripe or PayPal). The Overview shows the client a Balance Due card until it’s settled, and your invoice list flips the invoice’s badge to Viewed the first time the client opens it — a handy signal that it landed.

Common questions

Does my client need an account? No. The portal link is private to them and works without any login. Keep it to the client — anyone with the link can open it.

Why can’t my client see a file I uploaded? Files start private. Flip the eye toggle on the file (or its folder) in the flight’s delivery workspace to release it — the portal shows only released files.

Can my client download everything at once? Yes — Download everything on the Files tab streams one zip of all released files, and each folder and flight has its own zip button too. On a shaky connection, individual file downloads are the safer bet: they resume automatically if interrupted.

Can the client share the portal with their team? Yes — the Overview has a team-invite that emails a portal link to a colleague, and clients can also generate a read-only share view of the released files that expires after 30 days.
