Credits: What They Are and How to Buy Them

SkySuite has one credit wallet. Credits pay for AI features and for map processing alike, and your subscription plan sets how many you are given each month. This guide explains how the wallet works, what each plan includes, and where to buy more.

If you have heard the word “token” or “credit” in SkySuite and were not sure what it meant, this guide is the one place that lays it out. SkySuite does not use a currency called “tokens” — when people say token they almost always mean a credit.

One wallet

You have one credit wallet, and it pays for two kinds of work:

Both draw from the same balance. There is no separate “AI credit” or “map credit” — a credit is a credit, and the wallet on your Billing page shows what it was spent on, line by line.

Your wallet has two parts:

  1. Included allowance — the credits your paid plan gives you each month. It resets every month and does not roll over.
  2. Purchased credits — credit packs you have bought. These are permanent and never expire.

Spending draws from the monthly allowance first, so a pack you bought is only touched once the allowance is used up.

What each plan includes

Your subscription plan — Free, Pro or Business — is not a credit balance. It sets how much of SkySuite you can use and how many credits you are given each month.

Plan Logins Projects and contacts Credits Storage
Free One login Up to 2 active projects (stowed ones don’t count), up to 2 stored missions (including flown and stowed), up to 50 contacts One-time grant of 25 starter credits when you sign up; no recurring monthly allowance 2 GB included
Pro ($49/mo) One login Unlimited 250 credits a month 50 GB included
Business ($149/mo) 10 team seats included Unlimited 1,000 credits a month 250 GB included

Two things to know about the allowance:

Field crews — assigning pilots and crew to a job and running it together in the field — are free on every plan and are not the same thing as team seats. Team seats are separate logins for your company, each with its own role; Business includes 10, and additional seats are $25 per seat per month or $250 per seat per year — you add them yourself, anytime, from your Team page, no sales call.

Storage is an allowance too, not a credit: the Billing page shows how much of your plan’s included GB you are using.

Where to add credits: the Billing page

Everything is on your Billing page:

Settings › Account › Billing & Plan · /accounts/tier

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right (or click your name at the top right, then “Account Settings”). The Settings menu opens on the left.
  2. Click Settings › Account › Billing & Plan. The “Billing” page opens.

It shows your plan, your wallet (allowance remaining, purchased credits, and what you have spent credits on), your storage meter, and the credit packs you can buy, with live prices. If you own the account, two shortcuts go straight to the credit packs: “Add credits” at the top of the menu under your name, and the credits count in the top bar.

Changing your plan

Upgrading raises your monthly allowance and your storage; it does not change credits you have already purchased, which stay on your account. Use the plan section on the Billing page (Settings › Account › Billing & Plan) to move between Free, Pro and Business, or click “Manage Billing” to open the billing portal.

Common questions

Someone told me to buy “tokens” — where are they? SkySuite has no separate “token.” They mean credits. Buy them on the Billing page: Settings › Account › Billing & Plan (/accounts/tier).

Do I need different credits to process a map? No. One wallet pays for AI features and map processing alike. If a map will not process, check the balance on your Billing page (Settings › Account › Billing & Plan) — processing needs enough credits available for the whole job.

Do purchased credits expire? No. Your monthly included allowance resets each month and does not roll over, but anything you paid for stays on your account.

I am on Free, a Pro trial or a comped plan. Do I get the monthly credits? No. The recurring allowance is a paid-subscription benefit. You keep any credits you have purchased and can buy more at any time.
