Calendar: Events, Google Sync, and Bookings

The Calendar keeps your events in one place, syncs both ways with Google Calendar, and includes a booking tool so clients can pick a time from your availability. Create events, RSVP, and publish a booking page.

The Calendar is your schedule inside SkySuite — your own events, community meetings, and client bookings, all on one grid. Find it at Office › Work › Office › Calendar · /office/work/office/calendar.

Your events

The main view has Month, Week, Day and List views, with your Calendars down the side.

  1. In the left menu, click Office › Work › Office › Calendar.
  2. Click “New Event”. The “New Event” box opens.
  3. Fill in the title, start and end, and click “Create”.

Click any event to see it, with “Edit” and “Delete”. To keep separate calendars (say, personal vs. field work), click the “+” next to “Calendars”, name it, and click “Create”.

Community meetings show on your calendar too. Click one to answer “I’m going” or “Can’t make it”, or “Hide from my calendar” if you don’t want it. To bring a hidden one back, tick “Show meetings I’ve hidden” in the side list, click the meeting, and click “Put back on my calendar”.

Sync with Google Calendar

Settings › Integrations › Calendar Sync · /settings/integrations/calendar-sync

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right. The Settings menu opens on the left. (Or, on the Calendar page, click “Sync a calendar”.)
  2. Click Settings › Integrations › Calendar Sync.
  3. In the “Google Calendar” box, click “Connect Google” and sign in to Google.

That’s two-way sync — events you add in either place show up in the other, and changes flow both directions. “Connect Outlook” and “Connect CalDAV” work the same way. Connected accounts are listed under “Connected accounts”, with “Sync now” and “Disconnect”.

To just see another calendar without syncing back:

  1. On the same page, in the “Calendar via link” box, click “Add link”.
  2. Fill in “Name” and the “Secret iCal URL (https)”.
  3. Click “Subscribe”. It comes in read-only.

Take bookings from clients

The Booking page lets a client pick a slot instead of trading emails. Find it at Office › Work › Office › Booking · /office/work/office/booking. It has four tabs: “Bookings”, “Availability”, “Booking Pages”, and “Event Types”.

  1. Event Types tab — define what can be booked (name, length, “Intake Questions”). Click “New Event Type”, fill it in, and click “Create”.
  2. Availability tab — set the weekly hours you’re bookable (“Add Rule”) and date overrides (“Add”). The same page is Settings › Calendar › Availability · /settings/calendar/availability.
  3. Booking Pages tab — publish a public page that shows your event types and open times. Click “New Booking Page”, fill it in, and click “Create”.
  4. Bookings tab — every scheduled booking lands here, searchable by name or email, with “Export CSV”.

A booked slot drops straight onto your calendar (and syncs out to Google if you’ve connected it).

Common questions

Does Google sync go both ways? Yes. “Connect Google” on Settings › Integrations › Calendar Sync is a two-way link — new events and edits flow in both directions.

How do clients book time with me? In Office › Work › Office › Booking, set up an event type (“Event Types” tab) and your hours (“Availability” tab), publish a page (“Booking Pages” tab), and share its link. What they book shows up on the “Bookings” tab and on your calendar.

I just want to see another calendar, not merge it. On Settings › Integrations › Calendar Sync, in the “Calendar via link” box, click “Add link”, paste that calendar’s secret iCal link, and click “Subscribe” — it comes in read-only.
