Repeat a job, and stow the missions you're done with

To fly a mission again on a schedule, open Office › Work › Field › DSP, the project, the mission card's menu and "Repeat this mission…". Office › Work › Field › Repeat plans (if your menu has it) is different: a job your client approves once, with each visit invoiced. On Field › Missions › Missions, "Stow" puts a mission away on the "Stowed" shelf without deleting anything; "↩ Unstow" brings it back.

There are three ways to fly the same work again. Pick by what you need: the same mission on a schedule, a one-off copy, or a whole job your client signs up to. When a mission is done, Stow puts it away. Nothing is deleted.

Repeat a mission on a schedule

Office › Work › Field › DSP · /office/work/field/dsp

  1. Open the folder, then the project.
  2. On the mission’s card, open the ⋯ menu and click “Repeat this mission…”.
  3. In “Schedule flight”, set the “Fly date” of the first flight, then pick “Weekly”, “Every 2 weeks” or “Monthly” under “Repeat”.
  4. Choose the weekday under “On”, and under “Ends” pick “After a number of flights” or “On date…”. The line underneath lists the dates.
  5. Click the button, which counts the flights (for example “Schedule 8 flights”). Each flight is its own mission, on your calendar.

Only a mission that hasn’t flown can start repeating. To change or end a series, open “Schedule / reminder” on any flight in it: “Change this flight only”, “Change time / reminder for all upcoming flights” or “Stop repeating (cancel upcoming flights)”. Flights already flown are kept.

Copy a mission

What Repeat plans is for

Office › Work › Field › Repeat plans · /jobs/repeat-plans

If your menu has Repeat plans, it is for a whole job, not one mission: “Jobs that schedule themselves and invoice each visit. Your client approves the schedule once.” Each visit is a copy of the job, with its checklist, capture plan and deliverables.

  1. Click “Go to Jobs”, open the job and click “Make this repeat”.
  2. Set “Plan name”, “Repeats”, “First visit on or after”, “Ends”, the “Each visit” details and “How the client pays”.
  3. Click “Create approval link”, then “Copy link” and send it to your client. “Nothing is scheduled or billed until your client approves.”

Each plan under “Your repeat plans” has “Pause”, “Resume”, “End plan” and, per visit, “Change” (“Skip this visit”, “Move this visit”).

Stow the missions you’re done with

Field › Missions › Missions · /field/missions

  1. Click “Stow” on a mission (on its card in “All plans”, or on its row in “Schedule”). It moves to the “Stowed” shelf. A flown mission may also ask “✓ Flown — stow it?”: click “Stow” or “Not now”.
  2. Switch between “Active” and “Stowed” at the top. Stowing changes nothing else: status, schedule and photos stay as they were.
  3. On “Stowed”, click “↩ Unstow” to put a mission back on Active.

A whole project can be stowed too: in DSP, click “Stow” on the project and tick “Show stowed” to see it again. For the rest of the list, see Find your missions in the field.

Common questions

Where are my deliverables? Flown missions have a button for them, on Stowed too. It reads “Deliverables” when there is a map or delivery to open. Otherwise it says what is next: “Upload photos”, “Process photos”, “Processing” or “Processing failed”.

What does “permanently removes 1 flight and … of route, boundary and capture data” mean? That is the delete box. It erases the mission’s drawn area, route and capture points, plus any photo files listed. It can’t be undone. Processed or delivered work is never deleted: those missions show under “Kept — cannot be deleted”. If you only want it out of sight, use “Stow” instead.

Can I repeat a flown or stowed mission? No. Unstow it, or duplicate it and repeat the copy.
