Set up your public portfolio and put it on your website

Open Settings › Account › Profile and click the "Portfolio" tab. Switch on "Publish my portfolio", match your site under "Look", then copy the code under "Embed on your own website": "Script (matches your site)" needs no iframe and uses your site's own fonts and background. "Request a quote" goes where "Contact button goes to" says.

Your portfolio is a public page of your best aerial work. Set it up on your profile’s “Portfolio” tab, then show it on your own website too.

Publish your portfolio

  1. Open Settings › Account › Profile · /settings/account/profile (or click your name, then “Account Settings”), and click the “Portfolio” tab.
  2. If the page asks you to “First, choose your username”, do that: your username is in your portfolio address.
  3. Switch on “Publish my portfolio”. Anyone with the link can then see the page; switch it off and the page goes offline at once.
  4. Fill in “Headline” and “About”, then click “Save portfolio”.

“Your portfolio address” shows your link, with “Copy” and “View” beside it. SkySuite doesn’t make a QR code for your portfolio: click “Copy” and paste the address into any QR code maker.

Make it match your website

The “Look” box is saved as you change it, and it is used on your portfolio page, Deliverables & Demos and both website embeds:

Put it on your website without an iframe

The “Embed on your own website” box appears once your portfolio is published. Under “Embed type”, pick one, click “Copy embed code” and paste the code into your website where the portfolio should go.

To hide the header in either one, switch off “Show my portfolio header”. These options save as you change them, and code you already pasted picks them up; you don’t need to copy it again. The embed only works while your portfolio is published.

Deliverables & Demos and “Request a quote”

“Deliverables & Demos” adds a tab of live SkySuite sample deliverables (a map, a 3D point cloud and aerial photos) that prospects can open. Each is labelled “Sample deliverable”: they are SkySuite demo projects, never your clients’ work. It is on unless you switch it off.

“Request a quote” on your portfolio, and “Contact” on Deliverables & Demos, go where “Contact button goes to” says: “Automatic (my website)”, “My website” or “My email address (shown publicly)”. Your website is “Website” under “Social Links” on the “Public Profile” tab. With nothing to link, the button is left out. It never goes to SkySuite.

Get a map or client files onto your portfolio

They all appear under “Work on display”; “Save order & cover” keeps the order.

Common questions

The embed box isn’t there. It appears only while “Publish my portfolio” is on and you have a username.

Will visitors see my client’s name on a map? No. They see your own title and only the views you ticked, read-only, with no downloads.
